Doing deadlifts with less weight than I'm used to so completely rushed it and compromised on form. So stupid, kicking myself now as I've got loads to do and literally cannot stand up straight.

According to the "lifting" course I did at work a few years back, a lot of people injure their backs whilst picking up a piece of paper. Sent from an S20 using Tapatalk with that kin cr4p blocked

Yeah, and those paper cuts can be really nasty as well - especially if you don't have a risk assessment method statement for handling paper, which would of course say you had to wear cut-proof kevlar gloves and safety glasses, and bend your knees and not your back if you had to pick paper up before handling it.

Re: Gripe of the day - What is yours?
But how would you know what PPE to wear if the risk assessment is on paper? Don't you run the risk of injury from the risk assessment form?

That's why it's done via a 'elf and safety course. You can't get injured by a PowerPoint presentation (unless you get bored into unconsciousness and fall of your chair)

UK Parliament to be 'Covid-19 secure workplace' by 2 June. Schools to reopen for Reception, Year1,6,10,12 1 June
Parliament wont even commit to going to work but expect schools to.

My view is that sorting out the 'childcare' is the only way they see of getting the work force back...but they've not worked out making workers workspaces safe yet.... or schools!
