Re: Vintage film cameras
I'm debating on clearing my K1000, just don't use it!

Re: Vintage film cameras
I'm still pondering the future of my K1000 too. I don't get the popularity. Some of them sell for 3 figures but equally good Minolta SRTs are selling for £30-£40.

Sure you don't want the SRT back?

Re: Vintage film cameras
The K1000 is a bit of a brick, I don't see it either, but remember a few years ago when you could name your price for an Olympus Trip? From what I've seen of Konica lenses, I hanker after a Minolta, but it doesn't make a lot of sense when I'm fully kitted with Pentax stuff. Maybe it's just because I haven't tried it. I still have an AL1000 that needs a beamsplitter mirror and still not done anything about it, of course. I didn't like the cost of nobbysparrow's mirrors but it's sat there so long now I'm wondering if I'm just being daft!

Re: Vintage film cameras
Well, I got £29.69 for a fully working SRT101 body. Definitely unfashionable.
It looks like I might be back working in Leeds again after Christmas. The downside is the commuting but on the upside, 3 places that develop colour film within a 10 minute walk from the station, one right next door in fact. |

Re: Vintage film cameras
That's not bad. Also throws you in the path of West Yorkshire Cameras though.
