Re: Vintage film cameras
Just seen the Canon, the famous dream lens. How much was it going for? The lens was used for filming Army of the Dead, though you can tell the CGI bits as they have all the DoF.

Re: Vintage film cameras
I don't actually know, it didn't have a price tag and it's not on their website. Tbh I forgot to ask when I went in.

Re: Vintage film cameras
It doesn't look too bad for a tiny point and shoot.
I finished a roll of B&W in a Zorki 4 last weekend. Yet to develop. |

Re: Vintage film cameras
I put a roll of Kentmere 400 through my Seagull that I just got serviced. Debating on doing it myself or sending it off.

Health and safety in film photography.
I managed to break my nose processing a roll of Kentmere 100. Stay safe in the darkroom! |

Re: Vintage film cameras
Spatial awareness user error.
We've a small, windowless downstairs toilet that with a blanket pinned over the door, gives me a darkroom for loading film into a developing tank. All was going smoothly; I'd loaded the film onto the spiral and was about to cut it from the canister when I dropped the scissors. Bent down to pick them up and there was a sudden bang along with a distinct crunching sound. Ah, yeah, the sink. Forgot that was there .... And to make it even worse, one of the two films I'd loaded didn't come out well. The camera messed those up though, not me. |
