Had three films done today. Totally wrecked the one from the MV1. Scanning the others. There's an Olympus 35 Ecr on eBay for £5 plus postage. Small dent in the top but sold as repairs.

I like the postbox but I think it's gonna eat me. Peg one is good too.
The GAS seems to be taking you two! I started a thread on Rangefinder forum a while ago about weather, the answers were surprising. Many people enjoy shooting when it's wet, or other "interesting" weather, and aside from that, most avoid very bright days as the shadows are too dark and distinct, especially the street photographers. I have also found that hardly anyone on there uses flash, I guess it all goes together though. I thought about going out this evening to finish off the last few on my roll but couldn't be bothered, maybe another time. Several people said the colours are more saturated on wet days, I guess they don't mean the ones we sometimes have where it can be a bit murky too - more the ones where it's grey above and down below it's like someone cleaned the windows for a change. |

I like the atmosphere in the first batch. Soft; feel like stills from a 60s movie.
Is the Lomo Konstruktor the self build camera? Johnny, I know what you mean about wet day colours. The trees today had really rich, deep hues after the rain had stopped and the skies had cleared but I had shopping bags instead of cameras - and I just hate getting wet. |

Yes, its one of these:
https://www.amazon.co.uk/Lomography-...omo+konstuktor You need good light or 400 iso film to get good results. I bought the magnifying hood to get better focus. Good fun to build, took a couple of hours. Johnny, didn't notice the "eyes" on the post box. As to the weather, I try to avoid shooting at mid day as the sun just washes out colour. Unless I am shooting in the shade. Really enjoy shooting in the fog.

Just popped a bid on a Tamron Adaptall 2 28-70 f3.5. If I win all I would need is a Minolta and Yashica mount to go with the om/fd.
Got my £1 Olympus T20 flash to work. Battery terminals were corroded, bridged with a piece of foil. Now works a treat. Seems to have gained a few flashes with various cameras, now have a Helios and a Yashica flash as well as the old fold out bulbed National. So Johnny, what are you bidding on? Do you have a link to your RF thread?

LoL ..another one for the collection.
Where do you keep them all?? By the way Kenzie, do you need a strap for the Minolta? I found a spare when emptying out the ebay camera bag. |
