I got out today on the track (it was also the club's tea night!) It went a lot better than last week (and the weekend) so things are slowly improving. I'm very sore now, though. |

Re: The running thread.
Gary I hope it's feeling a little better after a bit of rest. Don't push yourself getting back out there, you'll only make it worse. Get some Ibuprofen in you and rest it.

Re: The running thread.
Thanks Martin. Amazingly considering how much pain it was giving me yesterday, I woke this morning to find it almost back to normal. It's now pretty much sorted itself although I get a slight twinge if I put my foot down too hard. I'll give it a few days before I run again though.
Not allowed to take Ibuprofen as it reacts with the small dose of Methatrexate I'm on for psoriatic arthritis. Sigh... |

Gary I'm glad it's eased off.

Re: The running thread.
Those pictures make me feel cold just looking at them!
I shall find out tomorrow just how mended my ankle is. I'm meeting with a few other canicrossers at Nesscliffe for about 5 miles of sandy trails and a couple of small hills. Should be good fun. |

Re: The running thread.
A cracking run out this lunchtime with a a couple of canicross friends and an assortment of hounds! Ankle held up without any problems although I did manage to turn it slightly on a wet tree root! Gave it a couple of minutes and rolled it around gently and it's been grand.
Perfect trail running weather too, with spectacular views from the tops. I'll post a couple of pictures when I've got them off my phone a bit later. **Edit** Some pictures from yesterday. What a difference in the weather from today! Re: The running thread.
No Chris, it's Nesscliffe. It's just off the A5 Oswestry to Shrewsbury road, about halfway between the two.

Re: The running thread.
There're quite a lot of these sandstone outcrops around Shropshire.
