Re: What have you tinkered with today?
New PR4s front and rear, new pads, disks and refurbed calipers up front with new fluid, feels better than the old already and they're not even fully bedded in yet! New coolant and rear brake fluid tomorrow, and maybe some more bedding in.

Finished fitting ktech springs, emulators and oil. Measure all the sag readings and adjusted preload. Just need to go for a gentle ride and hope I feel a difference.

Fitted some captive spacers byTracktanium from Parkitt Racing. Went for the Endurance style. Honestly makes fitting the wheels so much easier, especially the rear as front was never really a problem.

Re: What have you tinkered with today?
new spaznav power. i modded the car cig socket so it now has wires out the end and plugged into my gizmo. works a treat. i already had a hardwire usb power for the old spaznav and worked a treat but the new one never liked it and i was not paying £20+ for a new one. ok so i could have plugged it into an accessory/cig socket but i never liked the idea of it popping out of the socket so hardwire it was.
new spaznav is garmin 55lm and is much faster at loading |

Re: What have you tinkered with today?
washed the bike...
couldn't find fenwicks so i used what was at hand which was non bio clothes liquid at about 40ml in 250ml water in a spray bottle.. bloody hell its superb, the files and grime came right off with no scrubbing. spray bike, wipe down with cloth and rinse. afterwords i had a good think about what i had just done as regards to if i could have cased damage. well if you think about it clothes liquid is safe to use on clothes in a washing machine, the washing machine has the same parts a bike has like rubber, plastic, metal and paint. |

Re: What have you tinkered with today?
That's a good one!
I've used fenwicks caravan cleaner for first time during the week and its brilliant. Did a white van at the same time and you could see it bubbling, or that might been the rust lol Sent from my E2303 using Tapatalk
