Re: The random rideout pictures thread
Headed out to test my new seat. Stopped off here on the way home for a bacon sarnie only to find their cafe is now closed until further notice...

Unlucky Trev! How was the seat?
I had a sausage roll in Tyndrum which was pretty damn good A few pics from a run to Oban today. Kenmore Oban Looking across to Mull The tower which looks over Oban. First time I've been up there. It has a cool little garden in the middle |

Re: The random rideout pictures thread
Seat was pretty good ta Mav. Still a bit stiff but it'll hopefully break in a bit.
Oban is a lovely place Daz so I'm very jealous of your trip. We had a cracking long weekend there in a great b&b some years ago and I'd love to go back.

Mine as well. Nice roads and nice pics Darren. Nice pics from today as well. Trev, Not sure if it's old age or nostalgia (Or are they the same thing?), but that Bonneville is working on me. Handsome bike indeed.

The torque in the low and mid range is fun and it hustles about back roads so nicely. It's very comfy and I've been out for day long rides with no issues, apart from a slightly numb posterior, but not as numb as the original seat on my Curvy. With the touring screen on it fast roads are fine too but it works best when you slow it down a bit and enjoy the ride and the scenery. I'll be keeping Hugh for a few years, that's for sure.

Re: The random rideout pictures thread
It was a bit chilly today and I even saw some hail stones at one point! Worth it though for some great roads and views. I'm a bit disappointing with what my camera has produced though. I think I might just stick to my phone in the future. The phone pics seem to have more detail and the colours look right. When I use my camera I always have to adjust the saturation and contrast in photoshop to get the pictures looking like what they should.
Near Trinafour Dalwhinnie Loch Ericht Ben Alder Lodge I wanted to visit some more lochs but they were either closed off or I might have missed the turn off for them so I decided to do the Loch Rannoch loop since I was in the area. I love the roads and views there |
