Re: What have you tinkered with today?
Booked the old girl in for a new rear tyre and MOT on 13th.
So when the missus buggers off to work I'll be switching back to a single can with the baffle in and loosening the chain (mechanic said it was to tight which is odd cos I thought it was too loose lol). |

Re: What have you tinkered with today?
Got all the naff stickers off my son's CBF125
Previous owner had covered it in stickers liberally using the "F" word, with one letter starred out - to (loosely) quote Alan Partridge, it was like riding an obscene publication Hair dryer got the stickers off, but the "ghost" image that the adhesive leaves behind was a bit more challenging, eventually we found that Lemon wipes do the best job! |

Re: What have you tinkered with today?
I did my wheel and sprocket bearings on my original wheels the other day and thought I should do them on the set of wheel I bought for road use that I got off ebay. Glad I did as the smell of sulphur/burning was really strong with these bearing and pretty dry. The wheel have obviously done more than my originals.

Re: What have you tinkered with today?
This forum doesn't resize images. It shows as big because that's how big it is.
The solution is to post a smaller image.

Re: What have you tinkered with today?
Same undertray as I've got on mine Col, i think it improves the look if its colour matched. Looks great.
i gave mine a clean and a polish yesterday, poor old thing had been neglected for a while

Re: What have you tinkered with today?
I remembered the SV engine needs oil, and actually put some in it. Thankfully before it reminded me by dying!
Oh and fitted my new wiper motor on the scenic, £190.00... Grrr. Still I have two working wiper arms again!

Re: What have you tinkered with today?
Scenics can be costly to fix, I feel your pain. Ever had the electric handbrake replaced? Ouch
