Re: Smile of the day - What is yours?
Spending the day running from one end of the ground to the other for a Hardys Wine media day, they are a big sponsor and I was knackered with a burning Achilles by the end of it. But as we finished they gave me a couple of bottles of their new premium range for the weekend and invited me to lunch at the Honorable Artillery Club on Monday for a wine tasting with the Hardy family.
I rang the boss and he said take the day out of the office and enjoy it. Result!

Re: Smile of the day - What is yours?
Could make Tuesday hard work as that's a night in the pub with the motorcycle maintenance class lot as it's the end of term, Wednesday is a jolly to the Oval with my Chief Info Officer and Thursday I'm working late before taking Friday off to watch Essex V Australia with a night out with the cricket press. Dammit I vowed I was going to slow it down a bit next week!

Re: Smile of the day - What is yours?
The irony is I'm just restarting on my migraine prevention programme so I won't be able to drink more than one glass of wine at any of these events. Oh well, it's still fun.
And the case of good stuff Hardys gave me last week is hidden under my desk. The day after the Ashes Test I'm going to invite my colleagues to come to the park after work for a fermented grape flavoured picnic. Nice things are better shared.

Re: Smile of the day - What is yours?
Finally going home today after a nearly two week stay in the hospital.
Still may be a while recovering after two heart attacks, blood clots in the lungs and colon, and having a good bit of the colon removed (all in the past 6 weeks) but feeling good considering. Nows, just waiting to get back on the bike again.
