Re: Gripe of the day - What is yours?
That's the bus to the station. I then had the train afterwards, which was delayed by 40 minutes. Got to work late again.
On Wednesday we were also delayed. They'd thought up a new excuse... 'Ladies and gentleman, we would like to apologise for the delay to this service, this is being caused by us having to run the train slowly as we enter a built up area' Er, yes I think that 'built up area' is called LONDON, it's where the train goes every day, it's been built for a while, so what's different about today? Was the driver taken by surprise at it being there?! I despair, I really do.

Leaving the interior light on in my Civic for two days. Get in dash lights up, turn the key and then nothing. Not even a click. Grrrr.

Re: Gripe of the day - What is yours?
We are supposed to be on automatic delivery with the fuel oil company and yet once again we have run out of fuel oil which fires the furnace.
This happens at least once a year although it should not as that is the purpose of being on automatic delivery so you never run out. To make matters worse this time its on Friday night so will be Monday before we can get more. And the icing on the cake... This is the same company that supplies petrol to my service station and I am by far their biggest customer and they still let me run out. Every year. Grrrrrrrr We do have a paraffin heater that we use for emergencies in the winter but it only heats part of the house. The bedrooms are going to be quite chilly in a few hours. Did I just jinx myself with the previous post? Now its really going to be bloody cold here tonight. I think I need a drink.
