Had a bit of a moment on my way in to work this morning. Round a left hand corner lent over quite a bit, and lost traction on the front. Went half way round the corner on opposite lock. I have absolutely no idea how the hell I didn't go down. Just straightened the bars, and unbelievably the front gained traction.
None of this picking it up on the knee crap. No time for any of that. I can honestly say I have no idea how that did not result in a crash. But I am wondering if it had anything to do with the fact I did not let off the throttle. Maybe the continues forward momentum allowed time for the front to regain traction.  Whatever, it was a stark warning to me that at 6:45 on a crisp morning, the traction is just not there. SLOW DOWN.

Bloody hell, that sounds close! I have not had a sigle moment yet on these Z6's, but I do go very carefully when it is cold and wet. Err on the side of caution certainly. I sometimes would like to know a little more where the "line" is, but you only truly know when you cross it, and I don't want another accident
