Re: The running thread.
Finally made it out for my first run for nearly a month, slow but not as slow as I thought it was going to be.
Sunny but very wet and muddy underfoot. Feeling better for having been too. Afternoon run around my local loop. The Relive video Allt Dolanog by garynortheast Coronation Woods by garynortheast Allt Dolanog from the woods by garynortheast |

Re: The running thread.
Looks too muddy and slippy for me Gary
I got out for a slow 3 mile jog tonight and was out for a sprint walk a few days ago. I'm trying to step it up a bit since I'm just sitting in the house doing nothing |

Re: The running thread.
Got out for a slow jog tonight. I went a new route and thought it felt like miles more than usual, but I just checked and it was only 4.6 miles. I thought for sure I had set a new distance PB

Re: The running thread.
Signed up to the Norfolk Coastal Marathon today. It'll be my first one, and it's mainly trails. Still it's the 26th of September so should be plenty of time.

Re: The running thread.
That sounds good. If ever I were to consider a marathon it would have to be a trail marathon. The thought of running that far on tarmac fills me with dread (and Mabel wouldn't be too pleased either I'd think!)
Hoping to get out tomorrow morning as soon as it's light enough. It'll be much shorter than a marathon though! |

Re: The running thread.
Got out this morning for a hilly 4.27 mile run. A bit nippy in the wind on the tops but cracking views as always. Camera on my "new" old Samsung Galaxy isn't all that great so I'm going to start taking my camera instead.

Re: The running thread.
Had hoped to get out again today but accounts, work, and dad taxi run got in the way.
Still, I have what should be a very pleasant social run coming up on Sunday morning. |

Re: The running thread.
Gary I hope you get out.
I have my 7 am 14 mile Sunday Social run, which I am looking forward too. Although I am not liking my Garmin at the moment. It's not very supportive. With a training status of "Overreaching". God knows what it'll say after Sunday. "Near death, stop running". I'm really wanting to run 1000 miles this year, I didn't make it last year - only got to 668. So I must try harder this year. Up to 36 so far - still a long way to go!
