Leaky radiator in front bedroom. Not my favourite job but went fairly well considering brackets and fittings had to be altered to line up with pipes.

Re: Gripe of the day - What is yours?
Working with in-laws.
AARRRGGHHH, I work with my brother in-law he's my MD and sister in-law, she's just a pain in my ass. And today... THEY ARE BOTH DOING MY ****ING NUT IN.... I really wish there wasn't a global pandemic, obviously all the people dying sucks, as too does not going out, and of course people losing their jobs. But I would really just like to tell them to poke their job right up their ....... What makes it worse, is they might be the other households I'll be having around my house at Christmas. I'm really looking forward to that, like a hole in the head. Joy. (Please let there be a lock down and everyone has to stay in their own homes)

My missus. Her family don't **** her off, and due to the current situation, she hasn't seen very much of them in a while. So is desperate to see them over Christmas. (Albeit not all of them due to the 3 Household Policy - Yay!) So I'll just have to suck it up and roll with it. Whilst they eat the Christmas dinner I've had to pay for. 2021 might be the year I actually sort my **** out and change jobs. Hopefully the world does return to some resemblance of normal. I don't think I can stick it out until 2022.

Re: Gripe of the day - What is yours?
Anyhow, today's a different day.
On a slightly different note. A word of caution. DON'T ride a 1000cc motorbike when under the influence of rage. I nearly died 4 times on the way home last night - 20 miles. You would think I would have learnt from the first incident and mellowed out. But the red fog wouldn't let me. (Muppet) This morning was a much calmer affair, so much so I was nearly late for work. (Shame ).

Re: Gripe of the day - What is yours?
My gripe is broadband going off at 6:40am yesterday and no help from Vodafone yet. So I'm WFH using my phone as a hotspot and have had to buy a data upgrade. Vodafone are saying up to 72 hours to get a response from third line.
None of this is ideal WFH in a new job. |
