I managed to get a quick 5 miler in after work, I'm hoping to get back into my Friday eve routine of running as soon as I get home. I even did the old route. It was nice. Shame about stacking it trying to outwit gravity whilst running across a muddy camber. Gravity won. I looked like I'd just done my own mudrun.

"Unproductive", ever so better than "Overreaching".
41.3 miles.

15 miles done on Sunday morning, being honest this distance is a little out of my comfort zone. I could feel why my watch was telling me I'm being unproductive!

Hopefully in a month or so both me and the watch will feel better about it.
(At the moment, I'm not sure how the hell I'm going to get around 26.2 miles - probably much slower)

First run for I don't know how long!

3.62 miles and very muddy most of the way round but both easier and considerably quicker than I thought it would be!

Just need to make sure I get out more regularly now for some much needed head space.

After last nights run, I have clocked 105.6 miles so far this year, and I'm hoping I can sneak out on Friday eve.
But Happy with that as I'm already beating last year - even if only by a mile.
I am aiming to do 1000 miles this year, I started last year with the same goal, but didn't quite make it.
And only got to around 664.

I'm going to try harder this year. Plus I have the Cambridge Half Marathon and the North Norfolk Marathon to train for.

That is some ridiculous mileage! That's probably more than some orgers put on their bike in a year

Fair play though, you are very committed! How many times a week are you out?

Thanks Darren. I try to get out 3 - 4 times a week. Ranging from a 5k lunch run, to 14/15 miles Sunday run.

As for bike mileage. I've done over 2200 miles on the Gixer since Oct.

My brother in law had done less than 600 in 6 years.

100 miles a year? Wow that's pointless lol

I just went out for a slow jog and managed 6 miles. That's the furthest I've ever gone lol

I did have to stop a few times on the way back because I was running in to a strong wind and it was killing me

Hats off for pushing your comfort boundaries.

The last year it didn't move, and the year before it did about 30 miles. So yeah it needed a new home.

I got out this evening just before it got dark. Bringing Jan's total to 112.00. I pushed myself so my legs are feeling it now.
