I was hitching a lift with Mrs BigApe + the 2 littleapes and yes, it broke down, but we got home in the end - I was also happy to see hot running water! Really nice to put the faces to the names etc....Stewie, glad you got home OK - how is the dog doing? |

Re: the safely back home thread
Got back at about 7.30 last night, riding through the odd thunderstorm and taking it easy.

Re: the safely back home thread
Got back through some interesting weather - the 650 remained a 650 though so it was all good - big thanks to Fizz, Viper et all - for sorting it all.

Re: the safely back home thread
400 miles yesterday, and 40 dry. Soaked by the time I got to the A303.
Made it home about 5pm last night. Absolute bloody monsoon season all the way back. And my tyres aint square yet - result. |

Re: the safely back home thread
Just got back about an hour ago.
Had a detour to Suffolk yesterday and thought it wasn't possible to get any wetter..... then I put my damp leathers on for the ride back here today. Reckon they should just about dry out in time for next year.... The girl done good though and I only lost a twin for about an hour on the M3/M25 yesterday... |

Re: the safely back home thread
Home safe and sound, if a tad damp
Beautiful weather all the way to within 5 miles of home, then a monsoon
