Ah so they DO have training, I was going to ask that earlier. Jolly good thing too. Do they need to produce a certificate if they get stopped by the police or anything like that or does that just not happen lol.

I slow down for tractors cos they do unpredictable things and leave carp all over the roads. I slow down for lots of things. I'm not the most considerate guy in the world, but we've all got to live together here peeps....

The folk on the horses in this particular incident seem to be w ankers, but we only have Berlin's side of the story. I wouldn't tar all horse riders with the same brush in the same way that I wouldn't tar all bikers with the loud/angry/offensive brush.

Don't think I can even be bothered anymore

Anyway I've just had a stonking ride out on the bike just done 90 miles on my bike and didn't see one single horse (probably all given up riding completely because they're too busy petitioning Downing Street to ban bikes )

You can make a living out of looking after peoples boats, doesn't mean that it isn't a hobby, it's someone else that has the hobby generating the cash to fund the job.

It is still a hobby....

Working horses are another matter, if they have a purpose (even for racing) there is no problem.

Whatever.....I don't even have horses anymore - cant be bothered to keep defending them anymore - I don't see any of the horse owners on the forum coming forward to defend them..........so you all win....hope youre happy - I give up........

Oh boy, next he'll be saying that pedestrians need to pay a road tax so that they can cross the road.

Everyone should have respect on the road, no matter what. No one should ever endanger someone's life.

well, quite. We respect horses, we pass slowly at low revs. In turn, they respect us by clearing up all the poo that could quite easily kill a biker or car driver - or even a pedestrian if he happens to get in the way of a sliding vehicle. Oh, no, hang on - the 2nd sentence was a load of rubbish cos they couldn't give a flying ****. So i spose the question remains - why should we?

Bit like farmers who are supposed to wash their muddy tyres when they go from field to road, does anyone know of any farmer that does this?

Horses are not the only culprit.
