From my last visit there I don`t think we can park the bikes on the quay anymore.. does anyone know for sure?
I`ve seen bikes parked in front of the Liverpool arms and to the side of the pub so not sure , can`t imagine Conwy being that busy on Sunday to be honest . I am going to the Dr`s tomorrow in Conwy so I`ll recce the Quay out for a mass parking .

Just had an idea actually , easiest place for a load of bikes to park is the car park on the left . If you lot are coming in via Gyffin then go to the Castle and ride under the Arch , hang a left at the mini roundabout into the one way system around Conwy , and almost immediately on your Left Hand side is a big massive car park . From there the Chippy is less than 2 minutes walk for somebody with no knees and a missing ankle .

Excellent.... are you sure this is the right chippy tho? 2mins walk you say? you have to be absolutely 100% without a shadow of a doubt sure that this is the chippy I like to get my fish n` chips from whilst in Conwy

PS: The above isn`t actually helped by the fact that I don`t actually know which fish n` chip shop they came from I sat on my **** pretending to look after bike gear whilst someone else went to fetch them.

Just a heads up having just watched the weather report on bbc news - weather for sunday is looking pants and they are saying that saturday will be the best day of the weekend. So those who have said they can only go sunday, if the weather is set to be bad are you still likely to go?

Will be leaving via Gyffin, arriving over the cob. I know the car park you mean and yes is probably the best place.

Claire all the chippies are a short walk from there. (It's where we parked before)

I seem to remember them having dedicated bike parking spaces too

Would North Wales police book me for a stubbied exhaust? I can put the baffle in it. Or it would take me less than 10 minutes to put the standard can back on.

I`ve never been stopped for my exhaust Ralph and its very loud.... i do carry my baffle under the seat but see what the others think. We`ve ridden in a crowd of 20 odd bikes before with probably 96% of them having non standard cans and we`ve never had any trouble.

Can't do the Saturday as I am working. If Sunday's weather is pants then I would give it a miss. I need to get packed & check the bike over for the few days I'm going away next week, dont want to be also faffing with wet waterproofs as well

Ok peeps I really hope this doesn`t mess you around but I`ve been glued to the weather forecast for the weekend. Basically 3 different sources are saying that Sunday is gonna be windy, wet and miserable whereas Saturday is going to be warm and sunny all over the country.

I think it makes sense for us to change the rideout to Saturday..... I appreciate that some of you might have already made or changed plans to accommodate Sunday but in honesty who`s going to want a rideout in the rain? and there`s no guarantee that everybody would turn up if it`s raining anyway. My apologies to anyone who can`t now make this run but the plan will now be...........

Meet up at Chester Services on the M56 at 10.15 to 10.30 leave no later than 10.45. Some people may prefer to meet us at Conway but please let us know in advance where you plan to meet us.

The run to Conwy should take about an hour and a half... add, say, a 15 min stop to that and I guess we`d arrive there around 12.30 to 12.45?

Lunch on the quay in glorious sunshine and feed our faces with fish n` chips swimwear optional but pleeeeeeese........ all moobs to be covered up!!! Remember there will be small children and quite possibly pregnant woman in the vicinity, they will be vulnerable to shock

After lunch more riding

Both routes are flexible to allow more or less miles as the group feels. Can be adjusted for any particular favourite roads though please converse with Luckypants re this

Think that`s it... will be a good idea if we swap mobile numbers via PM if needs be so that everyone attending has the number of at least one other person attending.

So`s we know who`s gonna make it can you please copy and paste your name to the list.

Thanks guys and sorry again for changing the arrangements.
