*she still hasn't decided what date she is having the night out yet but if it's the friday I wont be coming Rusty you should really try booking her a spa day or something- give her a break from the sprogs- you will be in the good books for at least 3 hours and that should be enough for the ride

Cool, this looks good, I don't know the roads but a recce will sort that out.

Old Git, have you ridden any of those?

Can I suggest a route to Evesham as the road past Studley/Coughton Court is really boring

http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?f=d&so...,0.891953&z=11

And I know this to be a nice route back from Tewksbury and we could stop at Henley in Arden for ice cream on the way back . Also quite a few folk are now coming from the East of Brum and Henley puts them within easier reach of home. Just a suggestion, if anyone doing the ride out doesn't like it for any reason just shout.

Shell, just for clarity, the start point is Hopwood Park services on the M42, not Evesham as shown on the rideout map. It's 42 miles down the M6/M5 from Stafford, you'll do it in a bit over 1/2 hour at the weekend. Ride-out will be about 150 miles, so you'd be looking at a 230 mile day, with 80 of that being motorway.

We are now meeting at Hopwood services on the m42 i think so its not too far, ive offered to meet people sooner if they prefer.
Im only 10 mins or so from bassetts pole, i could meet you there if you still wanna come.
Remember there is gonna be a load of stops for people to stretch out and gid rid of numb bum etc.
