My insurance would be £260 fully cop with 3 years no claims, it looks gorgeous in the flesh with the motorsport paint with all the trick bits and it's comfortable to sit on... Damn, where are the reasons not to get one apart from the initial price?!

spoke to one of the blokes that worked at 3xmotorcycles and they let them take the bikes home at night, and bring them back the next day or go out on test rides, anyway the place is stocked full of all the latest yams, ducatis, MVs and triumphs.

i have always liked the 848, he said it was ****e, especially compared to the 1098. might have to get a test ride and see for myself.

It'll probably be right up the top of the list for gangs looking to nick bikes.

They may find that a little difficult as at the mo, my bike is in a very secure bit of a CCTV'd building, with a police linked alarm, in a locked compound. After this, they will be kept in my metal doored cellar, at the end of a path with a solid wood door, and blocked in with a car, on a busy main road that is very thin, with no stopping places and only a tiny pavement, oh, and right under a street lamp!

Besides, if it gets nicked, the fully comp insurance will get me a new one!

Here's an impressive stat:

Steve Brogan rode an almost completely standard 1000RR (replacement rear shock & Arrow can) and put in the 4th fastest time at the official Brands BSB test. What a bike!

Brogan is quite a handy rider aswell, but that is quite something considering the yamaha's and honda's and suzuki's.

i wonder how many superstock riders will be on BMW's

Saw one at Rivington the other Sunday, looks good in the flesh (apart from the front lights) but even they aren't too bad. So tiny though, especially at the rear.
