That's about what I get from a rear PR2, LP. Similar weight and power although two up more often and you'd have used more of your tyre than I do. Still prefer the look of the PR2's, but 35 quid difference does matter these days.

Does the Ducatti weigh 215KG dry? I would say that my bike with me on board is probably same as your 996 with you and Lissa on board.
![]() £35 a tyre is worth it, for you that's got to be one or two 'free' tyres a year. |

Because they'd last about 3 minutes?

![]() ![]() £35 quid is the saving on a pair. I've opted to put another PR2 rear on this time for £132 and I'll go for the Ultras next change. |

Had the Ultra 2 fitted to the rear on Tuesday, an instant improvement, but then that always going to be the way, going from an old partially squared-off tyre to a lovely new one.
A few hundred miles in, and I'm VERY happy. I generally don't try to get to the edge of a tyre - I'm not that interested in what anyone else thinks of the size of my chicken strips. That said, I've not previously had the confidence to tip the bike as far as I've been able to with these already. I'm almost getting to the edge, without trying. These are a confidence inspiring tyre, and with the expected longevity, they're a definite winner. |

Well I like the feel of them, I don't know if it's just the 'new tyre feeling' but it just feels nicer and smoother. The bike seems to roll along easier, I'm not talking about tipping it in, but just going forward.
I forgot to buy a tread measurer but will do ASAP to take measurements until they are done it to see how they've come along. But deffo happy with them so far, still got about an inch on either side as had a relaxed and quite nice ride in yesterday and today but might have some fun on the way home tonight
