If you want say make a show as suggested you need to know the process it all goes through....

Lets work on premise that its still £1000/mintute for broadcast factual programing, so a 1 hour shows, your looking at around £55k depends on what network its one, also wheter it will be sold on the international market as well so its needs to be sellable. For a show like this, it will cost more than that!

The second thing is casue the the subject matter is subjective, it may be hard to make a program one that appeals to views, second where does it sit in the broadcast schedule, what the demographic is this going to be aimed at.

The only way to make this would be so that it can be pitched and green lit for development, or put the money up front make a show then pitch or make part of the show.

So see the issuue here in getting a program made? There is a lot involved, I'd say it could be done but who will watch it, if its done too cheap it will show.

You would need someone technical, someone funny and a pro. So i would say James May - Intelegent, and interesting, Ross Noble - Funny and a biker at heart, James Whitham would be good. Similar format, but the trouble is, that not a huge ammount of bikes get relesed every year so the format would be very much like Top Gear or Fith Gear. A track section, a 'challenge' section, a new bike section. Its all about making these things different and thats the difficult bit.
