Re: Smile of the day - What is yours?
A knob jockey in his VW Golf Cabriolet decided to jump ahead of me by one car by using a right only lane at a roundabout, as I was in the correct lane for proceeding straight ahead. cut me up in my car.
But there were two other cars in front of me, both being driven by old people, so KJ couldn't overtake them & was gesticulating with his arms, as he couldn't pass them. At the next roundabout he got stuck behind the slower of the two cars, so i was laughing at him so he could see me in his rear view mirror. Then the next set of traffic lights turned red, just to compound KJ's misery

Watching Monday's TdF last night and spotted the Intermediate sprint was just outside the Cafe d'Etape in Die, where three years ago almost to the day we stopped for lunch on our tour through France. The view from the cafe was a bit different that day!

Re: Smile of the day - What is yours?
My American mate told me about them going through Die, but I missed it. I'll have to go and watch it again.
I was term 3 years ago too, although in September.

It is also a smile of the day for me to remember that we both ate in the same cafe, one year apart!

Yep, and that meal we had fuelled the final bit of our 120km ride on our final day of our Alps tour. An epic week.

Smile of the day - What is yours?
The famous honours board in the dressing room was getting updated today. Except the engraver took the order over the phone from a Welsh member of staff here and miss heard. I sent the pic to Chris Rogers and got the reply 'Don't mean to be picky, but you've got my name wrong!'
By that time our media department had already sent the video out. Oopsie. It's now updated correctly. At least the player saw the funny side, he was threatening to change his middle name from John to Glenda on Facebook.

Car broken down on the A140 towards Norwich yesterday. 3 police cars attending to direct the traffic and the resulting 2 mile tailback. I must have sailed past over a hundred cars to the front of the queue.
