Managed a 6 mile jog tonight with a few small walks along the way. So much more appealing now that the sun is still out

Great stuff Darren! The evening runs in the cooler air are really nice at the moment.

Out this morning for an earlyish run of 5.32 very hilly miles! It was just starting to get warm by the time we got back and both Mabel and I were starting to feel it. Cracking views as always, and stopped to listen to the calling of a curlew and the skylarks singing overhead.

Some pictures of the route on Strava.

Do you have to sign up to see the pictures Gary?

I jogged another 6 miles tonight. My calves were super tight for some reason. I was nearly home before I got in to my groove

Ah sorry Darren. Yes I think you need a Strava account. It’s free though. I find it useful for logging runs and for keeping up with what routes and times other runners and cyclists are doing.

What happens when you click on the link, does it just ask you to sign in/sign up?

It may be worth getting some calf compression sleeves if your calves are giving you trouble.

I see thumbnails of 3 of them but can't click to enlarge them

This is the first time it has happened so hopefully it's just a one off

Mmm, don’t know if Strava is having problems maybe?

*Edit* Just logged out of Strava and then clicked on someone else’s Strava link. You’re right, can see the thumbnails but can’t click on them to see the full pictures. Don’t know if this has just happened with Strava via an update. Bit annoying if that’s the case.

Morning run of 5.3 miles around my newish, very hilly, local loop. Had to work hard for this one, but enjoyable nonetheless.

One of the members of Powys Canicross has organised a virtual race to raise money for Greyhound Rescue, so I've joined in. Participants can go for 5km, 10km or HM. I opted for 10km and this run from 3 days ago was going to be my entry but at 6.4 miles it's too long. I'll go out and do one of my other, slightly shorter routes as my entry.

It was a lovely run though and a better pace for me than I've done for a while, especially considering the hills and the heat!

So frustrating. I’m still not able to run after my accident as my back is still painful. I’m walking ok although with some discomfort particularly on uphill sections, but no way can I run.
