Re: Gripe of the day - What is yours?
Nearly got hit by a Jag today, pulled the bike over with the car in front as an Ambulance was coming the other way but it didn't pull around the tractor it was following. Checked my mirror and moved off only to have the car fly past me at speed. Luckily I hadn't moved out any further or I would be dead. I have a video but YT seems to be a pain to upload to.

Re: Gripe of the day - What is yours?
Done something to my left wrist, after splitting a pile of logs this morning. It was ok until a couple of hours later, now it's quite swollen and very painful to the point that I can barely use my left hand.
Hope it's ok by the morning as I have to drive to Telford for a practise run for an event the following weekend. Food, paracetamol, and sit in front of a warm stove this evening as it's actually made me feel a bit ill. |

Can't take anti inflamatories John as they cause unpleasnt side effects because of the small dose of Methotrexate I've been on for years

That's what I was thinking, better for inflammation. Maybe an ice pack?

Had an ice pack on earlier Matt, didn't really do much. I'll see how it is when the paracetamol kicks in.

Re: Gripe of the day - What is yours?
I had a home made curry the other day with some in it, but aside from that, no!
I've had the ice pack on it again and the paracetamol has kicked in properly now, so although it's still very stiff and a bit achey it's nowhere near as painful as it was. |

Also try cod liver oil - very good anti inflammatory - as well as being a proven therapy for depression.
