Way back in the thread someone mentioned Ringwood brewery beer, so on a completely uncritical and non-bitching topic - do any of the locals pass the Ringwood Brewery shop this week which sells the Old Thumper hot beer mustard and could you bring me a jar? It is just the best stuff to put on your toast under your cheese and may help me beat the peanut butter addiction.

LPH: Ringwood is in a bit of the wrong direction. It's possible some of the Bournemouth attendees may be able to get there though.
If I'd had a bit more notice I'd have popped over for you but wont have time before the AR now. |

I had a bit of a scare yesterday. Passing the bike I had a look over the tyre as I often do and spotted a little metallic object stuck in the tyre. Had a bit of a prod and couldn't get it out so started to panic that I had a little nail in the tyre (having just moved flats this month, paying double rent and having two deposits outstanding I'm in no position to replace it before the AR!).
When I got back from doing what I was doing I thought bugger it, I'm not happy riding with a nail in the tyre regardless so I prodded a little harder and it came out. Turned out to be a tiny shard of something vaguely metallic (although it felt more like glass) about the size of a blob of solder. Considering how tiny it was it left quite a cut though not through the normal depth of tread so still safe. |
