None. It’s a Mac. I’ve been through all the hold down this and that key etc. No sign of life. Happened when it ran down to zero battery just being on standby unused for a few days.

One of the things that can happen is the the charger packs up. If the machine has run right down and the charger isn't working it's obviously not going to start. Can you find a known working charger?

It seems to be charging. The light on the charger stayed orange indicating it was charging for a couple of hours then went green to indicate it’s charged.

Macs can be a total bottom, I reckon it's one of their super worth price tag motherboards that means it goes in the bin - some models are renowned for this, we had 3 out of four fail within 16 months (one had even had a new board under warranty.
Then again I've had other where it was just a memory module.

Whats the exact model Adam?

Does it work plugged in? Might just be the battery. You can pick them up for £20 - £25. If it's the battery it generally doesn't work plugged in. You can test it by plugging it in with no battery in and it should fire up. I'd recommend shutting it back down though after testing it as they can overheat pretty quickly that way

Macbook Pro... late 2015 model.

I was considering a new one soon anyway when budget allows (it's a business cost but can't afford it really now) but it does have important recent accounts and invoices saved on it. It was backed up about 2 months ago, so really want to be able to get it running.

I've got a genius bar appointment tomorrow.

Logic board has gone apparently. They couldn’t work it out at my appointment but held onto it to diagnose and have just got back to me. £480 to fix.
