I'm a bit in the middle with this. I'm happy to do extra shifts as I intend to purchase a house next year and every little helps, but also just want to be left alone on my own pattern. Nightshift is very much handy money for doing nothing (I play Call of Duty, Counterstrike and world of warships most of the night)

*In the last 5 mins I've learned that my other colleagues are also getting texts and are as confused - message from t'office it's all back to normal

Just took my wife to the local retail park to get some shoes. Someone has left two used nappies on the pavement outside one of the biggest stores. What the feck is wrong with people? There's a bin 20ft away. It sounds like I live in a rough neighborhood, which it isn't. And yes I did the right thing and binned them.

I have known some employers a bit like that - if you aren't careful the exception becomes regarded as the norm !

I used to work in a design office and the carpark backed on to a road that was used as access to a school. We used to regularly get used nappies in the carpark, the schoolkids also used to slip into our carpark and smoke ( quite a pile of fag ends left behind ), don't even mention the rubbish from MacDonalds etc. We often saw some dodgy looking characters in parked cars with window wound down talking to kids... where were the Police - nowhere to be seen.

Did you report it to the police? Because if they are not told, how the AF do you expect them to be there?

Angry Re: Gripe of the day - What is yours?

Toyota's and rust! Trying this morning to fit a towbar to my '04 landcruiser, and getting absolutely screwed at every step by rust. Can't even get the bolts in without an M12 fine tap (which I haven't got), so will need to button the whole lot up and either order the tap and start again, or give up and just buy a towbar for our CRV.

Oh, also rounded one of the (rust siezed) bolts for the tow hook, which needs to be removed. I reckon that will need to be welded out now.

As LCs go, mine isn't bad (relatively) for rust either.
