They need a break.
If I had been judged by teachers on GCE O levels I would probably have passed all 8 subjects instead of cocking some up in actual exams ! Exams are the real test.

Doesn't pay corporate taxes
Doesn't pay workers (enough)

I think that, having made an extra $86 billion, he could afford better pay and conditions for his workers. (but I'm a lefty)
If he's looking to save money start with dumping Blue Origin.

its not Amazon's fault if our government creates tax loopholes, go take it up with your MP.

$87 billion.. well done.

one of my son's worked at Amazon a few years back when all the hoohaa was going on about working conditions/pay etc.etc. he said the only people complaining were the lazy sods. if you dont like working there then leave and let someone who wants to do the job work there. these people should try working in a chicken egg collecting farm or working on a farm to see what real work and crap conditions are like.

if someone does not like their job then they should go find another...

btw all lorry/delivery drivers pizz into bottles, its a known fact. it has nothing to do with not getting rest stops.

done that, multiple times. He says the Tories can't do anything despite some of the biggest tax havens are UK Crown dependencies.

I have no problems with Amazon making money if they paid their way and treated staff better.
This has to be tackled globally otherwise the corporations play off one country against another.
Apple, for example, has been described as a tax avoidance company that makes electronic products on the side.

There was a segment on the BBC news a few months back about fields and fields of daffodils left unpicked because they couldn't get workers due to Brexit. Apparently they'd had a couple of British people, but they quit as it was hard work.

In Amazon's case, it was largely Ireland giving them an illegal tax break.
