Be careful what you wish on others.

Had the opportunity this past week to see karma in action on Facebook.
Swift and harsh. Ouch.

A young lady who is the office manager at a local household appliance store was on Facebook calling for her youngest
daughter's teacher to be fired because her child had failed to receive a good behavior award for the first time ever.
She also called on other parents to complain about the teacher and mentioned getting a petition up to have her fired.

24 hours later this same young woman was on Facebook crying because the store she where she worked had burned down and she herself had lost her own job.

I don't know if she saw any irony in that but the wife and I sure did.
Not laughing though. I wish no ill on anyone.

It was a sobering reminder that karma can come back to bite you.
And sometimes it's just as swift and as harsh as you might imagine.

Is it just me that thinks a school giving out a good behavior award is just wrong When i was at school you just behaved and didnt need an 'award' for doing what you were told

Maybe i'm just old (school)

We never had them at school Geo, although I can say with pride my youngest has had quite a few from all her schools, including her Academy. Its nice that she does get them, but I wouldn't be bothered if they didn't, but despite this she says that the trouble makers don't get disciplined or taken out of class, which disrupts them in school.

Which is completely wrong

Thanks Geo, I had seen pictures on FB, which reminded me of this date. Seems like a long time ago & still miss the crazy box man, this place is poorer for not having him around

Used to see loads of those being re imported to the UK from the States in the 90s, plus Tridents, Bonnie's etc

Someone saw the revival in the Brit bike restoration market, and brought them back by the container load.
