I was only kidding. I find the pad pockets are too wide and the pad ends up on the side of your legs.

Decided to give myself a day off from cycling to work today. Traffic chaos everywhere. The council has decided to close and loose dress all the roads leading into Bristol, which if that isn't bad enough on it's own.... every driver on the road was trying to use the back lanes and getting stuck bumper to bumper with other oncoming cars. No one leaving any space for me to get through on the DRZ and some actively blocking me from pulling out or filtering. Why are people such ignorant selfish tw4ts?

Back to cycling on the nice quiet 9 miles of cycle track through the trees tomorrow, blissfully away from the hoards of morons.

Whilst I've been off riding because of pandemic and broken wrist - Lincolnshire council have dropped the speed limits on many of my favourite "A" roads from 60 to 50.

I find the actual pockets are not too wide but the pockets in the loose mesh lining means the pads just aren't held securely over the knee and can move sideways.

Cool weather doesn't seem so bad.
I see on news today that they have been pulling down statues of Queen Elizabeth and Queen Victoria due to some past injustice done to children in Roman Catholic run schools in Canada ! Didn't catch all the details.

MORONS..... do they not know that Elizabeth and Victoria were Protestants.. unless its lizzy the II then this happened hundreds of years ago when children were used as slave labour so you can blame everyone.

these people need to get a furkin grip.

Absolutely, Roman Catholic schools all over the world have mistreated kids put into their care for centuries, nothing to do with Empire and Royal Family. These protestors are first class muppets with no grasp of history, but very loud and so sure of themselves and 'their truth'. Twitter is an internet playground for idiots....

I had this conversation with someone, it's because she led the government at the time and the government found it a convenient solution to first nation people. Very much doubt she knew what was happening and sanctioned it but hey ho.

They did that in the peak district about 10 years ago, MAG ran a report that said it lead to no reduction in KSI rates (they may have changed by now, but how do you attribute it to the speedlimit and not other progressions in safety this far on). I spoke to (bike) cop and he said treat them the same as NSL.
