Google Chrome vs. IE ? help!
I'm being forced to update my prehistoric pc (Windows XP and IE 7)
as youtube is going to no longer support IE 7 soon. Should I update to IE 8 or IE 9 or Google Chrome, or ??? Really don't want to lose 'my favorites'. Any advice would be appreciated. I know I should bin the poor thing but I still like my comfy chair and the big screen. LOL

Here's a spanner in the works for you, Firefox! I've been using it a couple of years now without problems. It's quicker than IE and you can import your favorites.

Used firefix a while back, I found it slow and buggy and keot crashing, similar experience with Safari aswell. Chrome is the best IMHO

Firefox is good .
My other half likes it It asks if you would like to import favorites when you install.

Download both firefox and chrome. Both will import you favorites on install then just stick with the one you prefer.

I have used Firefox for years and love it. Although it's a little more resource intensive. For my Netbook I use Chrome with all the extra stuff hidden like Google Search etc. |
