Track day insurance - SV650.org

Hi i'm booked in for my first trackday next month and was wondering if anyone could recommened any companies that provide track day insurance.

Probably not worth it. Tends to cost a lot and carries a substantial excess.

Just take the day easy, enjoy yourself and don't fall off!

Yeah, I priced it up and the excess was huge, but then I discovered there were exceptions as well- IIRC the policy I was after didn't cover levers or fairings. So with the excess on top I'd have to basically annihilate my bike for it to be worthwhile.

Good crash bungs and good tyres, and maybe a set of pre-crashed or fibreglass fairings if you think you'll do more, are better insurance. Or just take stuff off! You don't need all that plastic on track.

i use Extreeme Plus on 0845 6760700. its only health cover not bike damage and the sums anrent huge, but if youre self employed like me its better than nought. £20 for one day cover £60 for annual which covers europe too, so cheap its a no-brainer

That is good if it covers hospital bills etc whilst abroad. Do you know if this is the case or is it just loss of earnings?
