British MotoGP moving for 2010?
I'm sure I heard next year will be the last MotoGP at Donnington Park. Does anyone know where it will be moving to? I can only think of Silverstone (although Cadwell would be fun) that will have the required run-off and facilities.
And I've just read that F1 will be at Donnington in 2010 after a £100m refurb... Why would MotoGP leave just as the facilities get improved? |

Re: British MotoGP moving for 2010?
There is talk of Silverstone, just hope it doesn't happen. Donington is a perfect venue for motorcycle racing, it's central to most of the country & is a good place to watch.
No doubt it will boil down to how much both circuits are prepared to pay for the rights. I for 1 wont be going to Silverstone to watch it.

maybe Brands GP? they run WSBK there so presumably the safety is reasonably good

Re: British MotoGP moving for 2010?
With F1 now going to donny and investing lots of money surely this will also benefit Moto GP?
Will see you all at Donington in 2010 |

I don't see how Silverstone can *not* need to get it. now that they seem to have lost WSBK to Donington they have no international bike racing

Re: British MotoGP moving for 2010?
Why is everyone so down on Silverstone? I went there last year to watch wsb, ok so the second race was cancelled due to the weather but that wasn't their fault and for safety reasons it was necessary. Other than the weather I like the venue and think the facilities are good.
