Irish / Scottish run!!

Hi everyone - Dar the car park was York Road Harry Ramsdans car park!!!

We will arrange to meet everyone at a specific place sometime closer to the time

Ok we have 4 defo confirmations - Myeslf, Darren, Sean and Alan

Start spreading the word - dont have to be sv owners - get your mates to come for the weekend - we want as many as we can get!!!

how set in stone are the dates?

that weekend is T in the park weekend in scotland and i reckon the ferrys will be mega busy

i would also love to come on the run but i will be at t in the park

not bothered really, t in the park is paid for so will be going there, but if the dates can be moved it would be great

I dont mind..its all the same to me

unlike last time where we stayed in belfast for a night before setting off early we will be virtually bypassing where all the marches will be and going straight to the port from south of belfast - i will meet you all somewhere and lead you so we will not be annoyed - or cause annoyance to them!!!!!

but if it is on 15th it should be ok - the marches are on the 12th and black march on 13th so should be fine

Yea, I dont mind what dates, whenever suits.

We have a special calender in Northern Ireland. It goes, January, February, MARCH, MARCH, MARCH, MARCH, MARCH, MARCH, September, October, November December.

Yes the 12th July is the big day. So there may be a few of Scottish bands and supporters going back. Also alot of people like to leave the country for the July fortnight. So the ferries are likely to be busy. However, AFAIK the ferry companies have a certain amount of spaces for motorbikes on each ferry. So the only reason it may affect us is if a lot of bikers decide to go on holiday at the same time as us. Unlikely

I wouldnt worry too much about that - if we have bookings ready for the end of may then my uncle will make sure we are on no bother!!!! We will be able to go right to the front almost!!!!

plus with us going on the 15th near enough all the bands going back to scotland will have gone - they go back mostly the 13th or if they are marching on black 13th they will go back 14th so we should miss them all
