Default Cheers Spannerman!

Just got back from an extended ride home from Sunbury following a visit to Spannerman's workshop. My new rear tyre is now nicely scrubbed in and the Z6 feels a lot better than the badly squared off Z4 that it replaced.

Although hardly local to me (about thirty miles depending on the route) it was well worth it. Good chat, good tea, good service and good price. Thanks Stewart.

You do however get the slightly surreal feeling that you've wandered into a Monty Python sketch. I just have to remember not to use the word "lube" to Bill when I pop back later in the year to get my valve celarances checked...

LOL. In my recent thread thanking him for last minute replacement of tyres I commented on how they reminded me of Dudley Moore and Peter Cook.
Glad it's not just me that thinks this.

Good evening all.

Twas a pleasure Trev.
FGO, glad you enjoyed the slightly surreal atmosphere too.

You would be surprised at how many people don't like the banter in my workshop, but I work on the principle that it's my name above the door, so F@@k 'em if they can't take a joke.

Cheers.
