Well well what a fun day .. (excuse my typing- when i type fast I go dyslexic !!!!! lol )
a few border patrollers had booked a while ago to go white water rafting in wales. you may recall Luckypants (Mike) is in to kayaking with his kids ( adult kids) both being top notch and his daughter inthe GB team-
lhis daughter is the instructor on the pics here-

so.. Mike organised the trip. - it was postponed due to stuff from march to today !! .. ( pete and Lissa- pete got Lissa it for valentines- awww how romantic) ..

in the boat were

we arrived a lil late me n Uki- but they had not got in to the water yet- ..

apparently Hovis turned up ON HIS BIKE ! with a bright pink bikini over jis leathers -there ARE pics I assure u somewhere. he rode for 2 hours like that on the public roads.! lol


a brief in th eboat on dry land and then they went off up the hill to come back down on the river and the rapids.. !

they were all laughing and larkin about- then it got serious and they had a very proffessional briefing which had the desired effect and "sobered" them all up to concentrate as they could hear the rapids right next to them .. and it brought it home that they were gonna career down this river in a rubber boat with 6 other folk and only one of them knowing what she was doing ! ha !

they were all ace !




























they did brill- it is open water for kayaks and there were loads-! I mean about 50 !! I dont know if the blow up boats take priority - Mike will educate us on that but there seemed to be a lot of etiquette and it was all very happy and fun and very very safe..


but look wha tthey had to steer through as well as look out for rocks and rapids and getting wet AND having HOVIS inthe boat- you could hear him screaming like a sissy girl from the river bank.. lol











but here they come again !!. the Border patrol rafters.

well no one was around earlier and it takes me ages load me pics- someone can consolidate it all.



so there is a viewpoint at the cafe- good priced food and you can watch all these kind of antics rightin front of you- and I mean right RIGHT in front of you while you have a brew and some cake.

I cant swim so I tookprecautions in case I fell in







then off for a BBQ at Mike and Claires- wel Mikes but Claire was hostess too and it was exceptional.. nice roads to get there and Mikes house is ace with views to die for..

unfortunately- I have a phobia of horses and a slight fear of dogs. yea guess what ,, Mike has 2 dogs and a horse. !.


our lil welsh mate needed a wee..










Big up Lily - here she is with her bike.. she did fab afte ronly passing her test this month- and then in the company of riding gods like Hovis ..





so there is this ace view- at mikes superb I mean awesome.. like being back in Scotland (no offence wales) .. and so Hovis sets his chair up.>>>>>
