SV Crashed

Hello.
Don't worry I havn't come off
When I bought my SV I was aware that it had been in a crash and the farings etc have been repaired.
Everything is fine on the bike apart from the yokes.
Is it possible for the yokes to be out of line but the front wheel be straight?
Onyl reason I ask is that I took it to a Suzuki dealer to get the forks checked for straightness and they said they where fine but when I ride along in a straight line the top yoke seems twisted?

It's all really puzzling to me and wanted some opinions.

When I turn the bars so they are straight everything is in line but then the front wheel is turning left still.
When the wheel is running straight the yoke is not.

If your yokes are not parallel looking from the top then (assuming they are not bent) neither will your fork legs be parallel looking from the side. Since they are longer than the yokes you should be able to see a bigger discrepancy. I don't know anything about the yoke and steering stem assembly. It may be that there are notches that fit together to ensure that the yokes are always true but if not, then they could be clamped up out of position. If this is the case, you might be able to straighten it all out by loosening the fork clamps and the top yoke and twisting the handlebars to fetch the fork legs parallel. I've seen this done on a KTM dirt bike. Or maybe you should go back to your dealer and explain more closely what the problem is.
