BSB Snetterton
I'm thinking of taking the wife to BSB Snetterron on June 18th.
We will be in the cage - anyone know how long it will take us to get in ? - I guess we would arrive about 10.30. She will only be interested in the superbikes Where's a good place for spectator's - do I need a grandstand seat ? I would normally hust wander around till I found sonewhere, but I'm not sure she'd accept that if she didn't get a decent view. Any advice gratefully received |

I shall be going all 3 days , unless they put some temporary ones in there are no grandstands at Snetterton anymore! I shall try to spectate at the Russell's chicane although i didn't go last year I'm told the good weather made the circuit fill up fairly quickly. As a guide i intend to be there at 7.30am ish to bag my place
the circuit is very spectator friendly and you can get fairly close to the action at most places, as a guide the afore mentioned Russell's is a favourite place but other good vantage points are the first corner (riches) and the Esses(on the outside of the circuit) get there early(next to the fence) and the bikes will pass almost beneath your feet having braked hard from approx 180mph on the main straight. chris |

Wish I could go, but its a little far... Last time I was at Snetterton, we watched a rider chase one of his back tyres down the pitlane, and it wasn't rolling, the Rain was that heavy it flooded through his garage and and washed all his tyres down the pit lane... The whole MRO meeting was canceled...
It was a disaster I traveled all the way from Glasgow to see One race that day... I hope your weekend goes better than mine did...

thanks guys
I'm in cambridge that weekend so access to snetterton should be fairly easy - it will just be difficult to leave early on the sunday. There are grandstand tickets on sale - so I might just wait till I get there (I know this can be risky). |
