 Someone in the room had football focus on and i had earphones in watching the Hull - Man U match. I took them out near the end for a sec and heard mr Crooks saying that 'Newcastle are safe'... i hoped i'd caught the end of a different sentence but i thought they'd scored in the 92nd minute or something Poor NCE! Well deserved relegation though... what a ****hole of a mess. |

Three v poor teams got relegated and another (Hull) just squeaked it.
Glad that my boys beat Hull so that SAF fielding a weakened team wasn't a factor in the fnal outcome. C'mon Burnley  Then thoughts turn to Wednesday evening...... |

The pundit in me would say Barca have been a better more consistant side through out thier season.
But Chelsea nearly beat them so.... I think Man U will take it, in a 1-0 bore fest. |

i saw one of those "motivational posters" today, refering to football it went thus:-
"If a system is given nothing but a steady supply of unconditional self affirmation it will never see an impetus to cure its ills" or words to that effect. thought that was quite good. |
