Considering the success Triumph is having with their Modern Classics range you'd have thought Norton would be quids in if they brought out a line of Commando models in the same vein. I recall reading they wanted to focus on the high end instead of volume but even so, there is quite a proven market out there now if they tried.

I see what you mean. Eek. I hate the way the side panel cuts into the bottom of the tank. It's as though they have a load of parts going spare and they're going to make them fit regardless.

Horrible looking thing. Sidepanel/tank thing is really ugly.

Another weekend of cool rainy weather after a gorgeous week of sunny skies and summer like temps.
Probably missing the peak of the fall colours in the mountains but with the poor weather and shortened hours of daylight now was not the best day for a rideout.

Shame Gary good to hear you still got out. Been dry and sunny but cold here. I did 280 wonderfull miles round the borders, took me a couple of hours to warm up when I got in.
