Default Good Price?

Hey
Thinking about upgrading and have been offered by a dealer £3500 for my bike.
GSXR 600 2007 K7
23k
Years MOT and Tax
Quill Exhaust, Micron and Original
Double Bubble and Original
Tail Tidy and original
R&G Bobbins, side protectors and bar ends.
Red LED's to light up the engine, rear wheel and tail tidy.
Excellent Condition and only occasionally ridden in the wet.

Good price or not?

Year?

Would think you'd get more privately if you can be bothered.

Cheapest on the bay is 3.5k and that's a track bike so depends how much your time's worth I guess or if you're getting a good deal on the replacement.

Jerry, sell the cans seperately mate.
If anybody is after a nice GSXR then this is worth considering, if he promises to remove the chavtastic LED's

I have been looking at Fireblade's, Gixxer 1000 and 848's

I would consider to take off the quill and sell separetly
As for the CHAV tastitic lights that is more effort (Is that a secret signal to say you want them tony?)

As Tony says, take the exhaust off and sell it separately. Bolt-on goodies add precisely nothing to the value of a bike at resale time and can often go as far as reducing the value.

As to the replacement, Fireblade is a Honda, no need to say more there. GSXR1000 is a fine choice though I hear the post-06 models are a bit girly. 848 is an overgrown 600, suitable only for chicks, nancies and under-16s.

Wouldn't say no to one of those new beemer things though.

Depends. If you're part-exing at with a dealer, then take it off. If you're selling privately then you might want to leave it on, as a new owner will probably want to fit a loud can anyway and would probably rather buy a bike with one fitted than go to the expense of fitting one themselves.
