Idle Banter For non SV and non bike related chat (and the odd bit of humour - but if any post isn't suitable it'll get deleted real quick). There's also a "U" rating so please respect this. Newbies can also say "hello" here too. |

Re: Thanks For The Memories
Truly sorry to hear this, some of my best rideout memories are of you two blasting past me on the SV with Larry's extremities flailing in the wind behind you (and all his costumes too!)
Also had some great chats and received some good advice from the two of you when parked up (& via the forum) so please stick around even if on four wheels. Hope Pete is better soon too, take care both of you |

Re: Thanks For The Memories
Lissa I hope Pete's condition improves wish him all the best from me, if you need any information about his treatment etc drop me a PM.
Both of you have always given me and other members of the Org. a warm welcome, I hope that this won't be the end of seeing you guys down at the ACE or on the AR's. |

Re: Thanks For The Memories
Well, for the fist time in our ten years together, we are bikeless.
The Duke went off with her new owner this afternoon. Really lovely chap who bought her, and not only will the sticker kit be staying, but he'll be taking her for a nice holiday abroad, so she'll be in good hands I'm sure. Still, there's a big empty space in the front room and in my heart. Thanks to you all for your lovely comments. We appreciate them more than you can ever imagine.

Re: Thanks For The Memories
So sorry to hear about Pete's health and the fact that both of you will have to miss out on 2 wheeled adventures, for the time being at least.
As others have said, don't be strangers - and look after yourselves... and enjoy your new wheels! |
