Default Gloves - under or over jacket?

Stupid question I know but I'm curious. Most pics I see have gloves outside jacket. When it rains, doesn't the water run down the sleeves and into the gloves (or was it just me on Sunday!?). I'm now a gloves-inside guy.

Personally, outside if it's dry because it's easier, inside if it's raining.

i wear mine outside all the time. The rain usually runs up the gloves or sleeves when moving.

Outside to keep the rain and wind from going up the sleeve.

anyone who rides for a prolonged period in rain would tell you they need to be inside!! otherwise the water gets in the gloves

anything else is really theories!! you can believe me or learn the hard way

You and me both Moses Apart from the fact I can't fit my jacket into my gloves, its preferable to stay dry.

You're obviously as crazy as your avatar looks!

Try riding in the rain and then stopping, if you're gloves are on the outside, the water runs right into them!
