Hi all, the bush in my starter clutch is well clutched, tried to get one from dealer and was told it is only available as a complete assembly £180, does anybody know different. thanks. Mark.

I think just about all the starter clutches I've ever seen come as an assembly.

I'd be off to the breakers, any popped motor should donate the necessary bits.

+1 to Sid

These don't usually go wrong so plenty of spares about.

Strange actually, any pics of the damage and what symptoms were there of a problem?

Thanks for your replys, i am building a spare engine from two damaged engines, one did not have a generator etc. on it, the other did, but the damage to the bush was probably caused when the end of the crank fell off, i found it all lying in the casing when i removed it.Better sharpen the penknife and get whittling.
