Yes, me too. However i will be happy to pay the £10 at least for use of the pub.

A question on food since i havn't been before. What does everyone eat since they don't serve breakfast? I assume they have lunch and dinner in the pub though?

Have you checked if they're biker friendly? Although I suppose it's just a question you ask when you book. That's what I've done in the past!!

Most are around 3-5 miles. There are none I could find in Althorne itself
