Nice one jon. I am definatly up for this one. Will wait to see about the group booking situation then - might even try and bring the other half if I can persuade her to get on the back of the bike by then - she does like camping / fire / tree climbing so should be ok.

I am a cert for this, but will wait until any group bookings are done. I hate sneaky places that put the price up confusingly! I'll burn them for that. I made a fire and BBQ last night, Phill will confirm that it rocks.

Oh and my rough plan would be ride down after leaving work slightly early at 4, camp, rideout on Saturday to somewhere nice and coastal, camp again, and go home. Sounds fun!

£28 is on the steep side for camping in a field. I am not fussed, as it will be fun whatever. Are there other campsites around though? Or will that comment get me beaten with a large stick?

Consider yourself beaten.

If you share a pitch with someone else it will only cost you half that!

Yep, much lighter fuel was used, and much wood was stolen from a skip down the road! nice! Nick has endless enthusiasm for burning things.

Is'nt there some rule about how far apart tents have to be pitched for fire regulations on campsites

Hidden costs suck. All these people taking their other halves suck. Its going to end up like Mr & Mrs. All the fun will be sucked out cause the lads will be forced to behave and not act like total idiots.
