Pointy Mirrors:
2 Questions,
1, are they meant to be able to fold in and out with out the need for an allan key? My curvy ones did and it made storage much easier. 2, Do the GSXR mirrors with Indy's in fit as a straight swap? |

Re: Pointy Mirrors:
My right hand mirror folds in once you go over 70mph...it's kinda like a built in speed warning.
Need to tighten it at some point |

Re: Pointy Mirrors:
Ah, my ones don't seem to move without an allen key .....
Do they need a clean, grease and adjust ?? This wouls be well handy for when I put the cover on !! |

Re: Pointy Mirrors:
That kind of what im getting at, replace or repair. If its replace then I might just switch to the GSXR mirrors and get rid of the front Indy's at the same time.

Re: Pointy Mirrors:
Well I could do with replacing the indy on the LHS as well so it wouldnt be a massive deal, it would kind of force me to do 2 jobs at once while I still have the enthusiasm of getting the new bike.

Re: Pointy Mirrors:
I made the mistake of squirting a bit of wd40 on the left hand mirror, which resulted in the mirror flying back towards the fairing at any decent rate of knotts. I wouldn't bother greasing them.
You need to fit the gsxr mirror and stem onto a k4 gsxr mirror base to make them fit.

Re: Pointy Mirrors:
boys boys boys... i too couldnt be botherd but its worth it, take them off. Use red rubber grease and use lock thread. A nice smooth in and out, never need tightening and you could do 200 mph and they wont ping back, cos its a slow, greasy gungy slide in and out
