Re: Just got some Michelin Pilot Road 2's
Is the correct size for the SV available from Michelin?? I dont see 120/60 and 160/60 as available on their website. Please let us know if you managed to get these sizes

Thinking of trying these. Not that happy with the Diablos. Loved my 010's.
How do these compare to other makes? Oh £197 ride in / ride out. |

Re: Just got some Michelin Pilot Road 2's
Might have to get a pair of these today.....
Bike is in for its 4k service - just got a call saying all done, but there is a nail in my rear. So if not repairable will be considering Pilot Road 2's. David |

Re: Just got some Michelin Pilot Road 2's
Due to a square rear Z6 and a Nail in the front (on the way to Watlings) i have a shiney new pair of Pilot Road 2's.
The difference is better than going from std Dunlops to Z6's..... Scrubbed in bu 200 miles over sat/Sun just gone. Didnt feel right to start with i must admit and was quite dubious, right till i overcooked it going onto a roundabout (about 80 miles into scrubin) and it just flicked round perfectaly at about 20mph faster than i ever hit the roundabout before. It's almost as if the tyres WANT to lean you into a corner, straight line stability is fine no im used to them, just got to see how they pan out in the wet. just got to say again, i'm simply astounded as to the difference these tyres have made. Re: Just got some Michelin Pilot Road 2's
Has anyone toasted one of these yet (ideally a front & a rear too).
I'm interested, but they have to be able to cope with the miles. |

Re: Just got some Michelin Pilot Road 2's
Yeah any feedback on these would be great. Have my MOT/service in a week and was going to replace the Z6s I have 'cos they've been on quite a while even though I could squeeze another couple of thou out of them...wanted some new stuff for the summer.
Was gonna go Z6s again, but these look tempting. Look forward to hearing more about them. |

Re: Just got some Michelin Pilot Road 2's
I've only done about 250 miles since they've been fitted, but hopefully doing a 1000 or so this weekend. I'm gonna keep a log of mileage and depth of tread. You'll be able to check em out at the end of May hopefully Baph.

Sounds like a plan pete, I'll be needing new rubber (front & back probably) after that ride as well.
