where to get long gear shift rods?
I have bent my gear link shift rod thing rather badly & could do with a new one. problem is that it's for walter moto rearsets & is 190mm long, so a bit long for a bit of 4mm rod with threads on the end (if I even had reverse thread dies - or normal ones for that matter - or 4mm rod)
anyone know where I can get a long rod (fnar fnar)? 190mm would be ideal, or ~212mm would be okay too as I have a ~22m extension peice on because of the jack-up plates I have on too thanks |

Try a local engineering firm, don't forget left hand thread at one end; well or a mate with acces to a lathe.

Bandit 600's rod, IIRC, is very long. Fnarr, again.
