The marshall organisation is called racesafe
http://www.racesafe.org/ I looked at doing it a while ago but I dont have the free time to put into it, I talked to "Coombest" who is a race marshall about it but I dont think he posts as much on here as he used to.

I marshall for CRMC, maybe not everybody cup of tea but very entertaining and close racing. Good place to start out and do a marshalling course for free.
You get free entry to races (obviously) Paid £10 per day for your troubles Get lunch and refreshments Get to watch the racing close up They provide a course free of charge every march provided by http://www.acu.org.uk/, once you have the qualification/certificate you can marshall at any event you like, marshall are always needed. What you have to bear in mind is that if your marshalling at WSB/BSB/MotoGP and your not a dedicated regular or know people that are then you will more than likely start out on car park or pedestrian traffic duties and have to work your way up. |

This was on the IoM though - they have a rather special approach to H&S there. What you have to ask yourself, is are you weird enough to be a marshall? They're not normal people, you know. If you have mild aspergers, you might be overqualified.
